We're fascinated by the history of the inflatable structure in design. With the discovery and development of thermo-bonding in the 1960s, architects and furniture designers alike experimented with a number of pneumatic applications. As part of the Paris-based UTOPIE group, formed in 1967, architects Jean Aubert, Jean Paul Jungmann, and Antoine Stinco designed entire inflatable cities.
