Thinking about hitting up a museum to beat the heat with your little ones this week? Head over to the MoMA Art Lab for Places and Spaces. This interactive exhibition, on display through August 31, 2015, explores both cityscapes and landscapes, real places and those that exist only in our imaginations. After learning about different types of environments, visitors are invited to create their own. Whether drawn on paper or built with blocks, kids of all ages have the freedom to explore the infinite possibilities in our world and beyond.
The MoMA Art Lab is open Saturday–Wednesday, 10:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m. and Thursday–Friday, 10:30 a.m.–6:30 p.m. Tickets are $25 for adults and free for children under 16. The museum is located at 11 West 53rd St. in New York City.
