Here at kinder MODERN we’re always inspired by and looking for new applications for objects originally designed for children. In that vein, we love the Light 5 + 5 by Oikimus Design, influenced by the 1970’s puzzle,Rubik’s Snake by Rubik Erno. The light is composed of LED bulbs behind frosted plexiglass encased in seven separate birchwood frames connected by 360° rotating hinges, allowing the user to create two- and three-dimensional shapes and unexpected figures. This versatile, multi-function piece can be used as a table, wall, or ceiling lamp.
