Locust Projects, a Miami non-profit exhibition space dedicated to contemporary visual artists, encourages kids to interact with their current exhibition by inviting little artists, ages 4-13, to create a project and have a snack in the gallery space among the artwork. Little LAB: Cupcakes and Crafts takes place this Saturday, March 22, 2014 from 11:00am - 1:00pm.
Little LAB is an extension of Locust Projects LAB (Locust Arts Builders) program, which celebrates its fifth year of celebrating high school art in 2014 with LAB's annual collaborative group exhibition. LAB graduates serve as mentors for Little LAB artists.
Current exhibitions include Christy Gast's Inholdings andFelice Grodin's A Fabricated Field.
