Taylor Scott Ross is a junior designer at studiokinder and believes play, fun, and lightheartedness are paramount to meaningful design. He grew up in suburban Texas, where every summer day was bring-your-kid-to-work day at his father's home construction company. His childhood experiences with family and the built environment strongly influenced his education and design work. In 2016, Taylor earned a BFA in furniture design from the Savannah College of Art and Design, where he designed a collection of play furniture and objects for grown-ups to nourish their inner child. Since graduating, Taylor has lived in Brooklyn, New York, and worked at kinder MODERN with others who share his passion for simple and playful child design.
