Lila Allen is a writer and researcher in Brooklyn. Raised in North Carolina, she studied art history at Davidson College and earned a master's degree in design research, writing, and criticism at the School of Visual Arts. In 2016, she was the recipient of the Monotype Scholarship for Excellence in Design Criticism and the Paula Rhodes Memorial Award.
